England play India in a 3 match T20I series starting on 26th Jan. Tymal Mills has been in lot of news these days, mainly because of his stupendous pace.
At 24, Tymal has already established himself as a T20 specialist, not playing the other formats at all.
Before arriving in India, Tymal played T20 leagues in Bangladesh, England, New Zealand and Australia. The three match series in India would be a boon for his career cementing his place in the first eleven of England’s T20 squad. Mills certainly has a whole array of skills. Topping 150 KPH consistently and still looking to increase his pace is the most notable characteristic of this player. With fast yorkers and lethal bouncers, Tymal’s most potent weapon is the slower ball. He believes that the slower ball is very lethal in death overs giving him control over the batsmen. England played India in a 3 match T20I series in January. Tymal Mills was an integral part of the squad.
The Left-Handed fast bowler was rated at a base price of Rs.50 Lakhs but went for a whooping Rs.12 Crore to the Runner Ups RCB. He is the most likely replacement for Mitchell Starc who left the team yesterday.
Can he replicate his performance in the IPL, remains to be seen but it shall be entertaining to watch him ball at 150 KPH.
