David Hits Another Century


Different match, different day, different ground, same result. David Warner hits another century. This time registering his highest score in ODI cricket amassing 179 runs, this time off just 128 balls. Going at a strike rate of 139.84 he hit 19 fours and 5 sixes.


This was his second century in the 5-match ODI series, and sixth in last eleven innings. Australia went on to score 369 runs in their quota of 50 overs, eventually winning the match by 57 runs. Australia won the series 4-1, out of which David Warner was awarded Man-of-The-Match in two matches.

The deadly southpaw from New South Wales grows in stature day by day and proving why he is called one of the most deadly batsmen in world cricket.
