Real Madrid defeat Espanyol, Gareth Bale Returns

Real Madrid beat Espanyol in a La Liga clash on Saturday. The match was marked by the return of the Wales national, Gareth Bale. Bale was out of the team for four months following an ankle injury. Although, Benzema and midfielder Modric were rested for the match, Real Madrid looked strong and confident.

Morata scorred the first goal of the match, heading a masterful cross from Isco.

A clinical performance for the hosts and the score at half-time was 1-0.

The second half was even more attacking for Real Madrid. They were great at pressing, and counter attack. Bale replaced Morata in the 71st minute and was welcomed by a huge roar from the home crowd.

Bale marked his comeback scoring in the 84th minjute of the match, hitting in the bottom right corner.

Madrid beat Espanyol by 2-0 at full time.
