Who will win La Liga ?? Barca Or Real Madrid

Who will make it ? Who will win this year’s La Liga Title. Would it be the Blaugranians or the Vikings. Will the Real Madrid lift it for the 33rd time or the Barca will give their fans to cherish the moment where they would be winning the La Liga for the 25th time.If Real Madrid wins the La Liga title this season, it would be their first La Liga & Champions League double since 1958.

Call it luck, talent or passion, Real Madrid have looked invincible under Zinedin Zidan. Out of 83 matches that he has managed the Los Blancos side, he has faced defeat only seven times. This stat in itself shows the tactical mindset and planning of this manager. Starting this season, Real Madrid looked in their evergreen glory and carried the winning aura they are used to. Real Madrid were unbeaten in the league until match day 17, where they lost to a clinical Sevilla side, 2-1.

Real Madrid stand level with the Barca, but have an extra added advantage of an extra game as compared to their Catalans counterpart rivals.

For the Barcelona side, this was a season to reform. Bidding adieu to various veterans and bringing in new talent. They had a different start to the league than their Madrid counterparts. The Catalan Giants won just 7 games out of their first 10 in the league, losing two and drawing one. But slowly their campaign gained momentum and they saw themselves in the position where they like to be- the top of the table.

But the season was all about Real Madrid. Their clinical performances and bench strength shut every hater. They won matches where Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, Modric and Kroos missed. James Rodriguez in particular has been the highlight. Although starting on bench for most of the matches, he has scored most goals plus assists for a mid-fielder in the league.

“La Liga is the title I have left to win, it would be a special one for me but I don’t want to have to choose between wining La Liga or the Champions League,” said Madrid defender Nacho. “We have three finals to win in La Liga.” he added

For FC Barcelona, all eyes were on their new signings. Andre Gomez was brought in from Valencia for a whooping 35 million Euros, to replace legends like Xavi in the midfield and play along side the aging Iniesta. But the youngster failed to impress with his slow pace and minimal movement in the field. The best signing for the Catalans was the center-back Samuel Umtiti who was bought from Lyon in the summer window. With Pique, he formed a formidable pair at the back and impressed one and all with his tackling and defensive abilities .

Both the teams need to be very careful as a single mistake might lead to washing away crucial points away from their hands off. Sampoli’s dream of job at Camp Nou may have come and gone but surely he could manage to give the Barca fans a treat by defeating the Vikings and derailing their winning streak as well give a huge blow and crush to the Real Madrid against the hopes of winning the La Liga for the first time since Mourinho left the Whites.

Osasuna have already been relegated by the Barcelona in their previous game, whereas Sevilla needs only one point to get a assurance to return to the Champions League, so it might be also be a reason for worries for the Zidan to perform well in a do or die situation. Also, Sporting Gijon will be relegated if they fail to win at Eibar.
