India take on Sri Lanka in their second game in the quest to defend their Champions title. With this, the teams are back at the iconic Oval Ground in London to fight it out and move a step closer to the Semi-Finals. But what is peculiar to the ground besides the gas holders in the background is the weather. The summers in London are marked by continuous heavy rains and halted cricket matches. Such has been the case in the Champions Trophy 2017. While two matches have been ended with no result, the result in almost all the matches have been in someway or the other affected by the godly showers.
Such is the scenario in the India vs Sri Lanka game tomorrow. Passing showers and light rain is expected all throughout the day on Thursday, tomorrow. With the game being a must win for both the sides, a match without the result could really dent both sides’ chances to go ahead in the tournament.
Although the weather is expected to lighten up a bit around the second innings, a rain affected game is certainly on the cards. However the conditions, it is going to be quiet a thriller tomorrow for sure.
