Although Arsenal rejected the initial £50m deadline day offer for Alexis Sanchez, it looks like the tables have turned since then. Arsenal might have hoped that they might persuade Alexis to sign a new contract keeping him at the Emirates. However, The Chilean looks reluctant to extend his stay at the North London Club and also looks unwilling to leave England due to his huge wage demands which he may or may not be offered at other European Clubs. With PSG signing Mbappe, that leaves only a host of EPL Clubs as the probable option for Alexis Sanchez. And Manchester City look to capitalize on the desperate situation by tabling a measly £20m offer for the Chilean whose contract runs out on July 2018 with Arsenal.
Although Sanchez plays as a forward for the Gunners, it is expected he will slot into the midfield with Silva and De Bruyne with either Aguero or Jesus leading the charge.
