Madrid Ready for The Cakewalk Against APOEL FC

After two successive draws against Valencia and Levante in La Liga, Real Madrid will be looking to bounce back and attain the winning form as they play APOEL in their first Champions League group game.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be looking to improve on his all time top goal-scoring record in UCL. Karim Benzema, Marco Asensio are said to miss the match due to injuries while Raphael Varane’s inclusion in the team still remains a doubt.

While APOEL is considered to be the weakest team in Group H, it will be a miracle if they beat Real Madrid or hold them to a draw in their own stadium. Igor de Camargo of APOEL has scored 5 goals in 7 games. Let’s hope he continues his magic against Real Madrid. It will be quite a big shock if APOEL manages to beat Real Madrid or even hold them to a draw.
