Our Take –

Cristiano Ronaldo looked to be the favourite for The Best Men’s Player Award but Lionel Messi has started the season in sublime form which makes it a difficult choice this year. Given Messi’s form and stats, he might edge past Ronaldo this year.

  • The Best FIFA Women’s Player

  1. Deyna Castellanos (Venezuela/Santa Clarita Blue Heat/Florida State Seminoles)
  2. Carli Lloyd (USA/Houston Dash/Manchester City)
  3. Lieke Martens (Netherlands/FC Rosengard/FC Barcelona)

Our Take –

Carli Lloyd had an amazing season yet again but still we would go with the UEFA Women’s Euro 2017 Player of the Tournament Lieke Martens.

  • The Best FIFA Men’s Coach

  1. Massimiliano Allegri (Italy/Juventus)
  2. Antonio Conte (Italy/Chelsea)
  3. Zinedine Zidane (France/Real Madrid C.F.)

Our Take –

Both Allegri and Conte produced some tactical masterpiece this season taking their teams to victory but the France legend was hands-down the best. With the Champions League and La Liga title in hand, Zinedine Zidane is our take for The Best FIFA Men’s Coach.

  • The Best FIFA Goalkeeper

  1. Gianluigi Buffon (Italy/Juventus)
  2. Keylor Navas (Costa Rica/Real Madrid C.F.)
  3. Manuel Neuer (Germany/FC Bayern Munchen)

Our Take –

All the 3 nominees are tough competitors and possess the ability to work without breaking a sweat, but it looks like this will be Buffon’s year. The 39 year-old has been amazing for Juventus as well as Italy and our take for this award.

The winners will be crowned at the London Palladium Theatre (Argyll Street) on 23rd October 2017.

PS:- The predictions are tentative and they might turn out to be false depending on how things shape up in the next 1 month. Our Final take will be posted shortly.
