ATP Shenzhen 250 Masters

The Shenzhen open takes place at the Shenzhen Logging Sports centre, a state of the art facility with more than 20 outdoor match courts. It is one of the four ATP World Tour events hosted in China. The tournament, which debuted in 2014, has crowned as champions ATP World Tour Top 10 stalwarts, including Andy Murray(2014) and Thomas Berdych(2015,2016).

The tournament has a total financial commitment of 731,680 dollars. Again we don’t have any of the worlds top seeds playing the championship but there was the presence of Alexander Zverev, David Goffin, Mischa Zverev, Paolo Lorenzi and Alexandr Dolgopolov. Here are the stats of the tournament:

The finals was a heart throbbing one indeed!

We have the 26 year old Belgian, D.Goffin taking on the 28 year old Ukrainian, Alexandr Dolgopolov. Both of them have faced each other twice before have have a win percentage of 50.  But the match was dominated by D.Goffin who won the match and the championship with a score of 6-4 5-7 6-3.
