After registering a great victory against Olympiacos in the Champions League, Barcelona welcomes last placed Malaga in their next league match. Barcelona currently sits on top of the table with 7 wins and 1 draw while Malaga are currently placed on last and are yet to register a victory in the current season.
Barcelona have been in a fine form this season and have won all of their first 7 games only to be held by Atletico Madrid wherein a late Luis Suarez equaliser salvaged them a point.
Ernesto Valverde called up the same 18 players that were in uniform in midweek, which means more playtime for Digne, who did quite well in the last match. Paulinho is expected to start in place of Rakitic in the midfield, who has been very good since joining the club, and since his best performance so far was against Olympiacos it might be a good idea to reward his current form with another start on Saturday.
In the front, Messi is, as usual, in a lethal form while the form of Luis Suarez continues to be a woe for the team. Deulofeu is expected to start in the front along with these two.
The Albiceleste are currently in the last place, with only one point from their first eight games and having the third worst attack and the worst defence in La Liga. Malaga have only been able to net 4 goals while have conceded 18 and things don’t look good for the Albiceleste.
