The Indian shuttler clinched his third title in 2017, The Denmark Open Super Series Premier, after defeating Lee Hyun-il of Korea with 21-10, 21-5 win in just 30 minutes.
He is among the only six players in the badminton history to reach four Men’s Single Super Series finals. Happy with his victory, Srikanth said that he did not expect such an easy win.
The hyderabadi is now traveling to Paris for French Open Super Series which is to begin on 24-10-2017. but the Indian, who 3 titles in a row, said that it won’t be easy for him to keep up the same performance in Paris.
Kidambi Srikanth made a record of entering three consecutive Super Series Events finals.
He bagged the 2017 Indonesia Super Series Premier winner title after beating Kazumasa Sakai of Japan in just two sets with a score 21-11, 21-19 and became the first ever Indian man to do so.
He also won the 2017 Australian Super Series by beating China’s Chen Long with a score of 21-20, 21-16.
