Champions League Record To Be Broken

“Records are made to be Broken”, seems like Cristiano Ronaldo has taken these lines way too seriously as he’s pressing on to break his own goalscoring records.

Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo is set to break another Champions League record of Most Number of Goals in a single calender year.

The previous record is held by the Real Madrid talisman himself as he netted the ball 16 times in the year 2015.

This year he seems to break his own record as he has already recorded 16 goals to his name in this calender year and it is possible that he’s able to achieve this feat in the next game against Apoel on Wednesday November, 22.

Ronaldo holds the top 3 spots in the record tally as he scored 16 in 2015 and 15 in 2013 followed by Leo Messi who scored 13 in 2016.

Ronaldo also holds the record for most no. of goals (17) in a single Champions League season.

Will he be able to achieve the feat tomorrow?

Let’s hope for the best 🤘
