Teenage Star Sets A New Record

The exciting Champions League clash between Bayern Munich and PSG came to an end with the German champions coming out on top with a margin of two goals.

Bayern 3-1 PSG

This was the 1st time Paris Saint Germain has been trailing by two goals at half time.

Although this was a rough night for the French champions but the 18-year-old Kylian Mbappe came out on top and set a new record to his name by scoring against the lone goal against Bayern in their 3-1 defeat.

Mbappe has now become the youngest player (18 years 11 months) to reach the 10 goal mark in the Champions League history. He scored 6 times for Monaco while he has netted 4 times for the Parisians. The record was previously held by his fellow Frenchman Karim Benzema who broke the ice at the age of 20 years and 10 months. No, that’s a big difference .

It’s because of Mbappe’s goal that the Parisians have finished as Group-B winners.

Despite having big names like Neymar and Cavani at his side, he has continued to outshine them and if he continues to progress at such a good pace he’ll surely be having many more records to his name.
