Kirsten appointed batting coach for RCB

The former Indian Coach Gary Kirsten is appointed the batting coach of RCB for the 11th season of the IPL.
Kirsten has previously participated in IPL as the head coach of Delhi Daredevils in 2014 and 2015 seasons. Despite of signing three-year contract with DD, the South African was removed as the team finished seventh and eighth places in the successive seasons.
Kirsten has played a great role to develop Indian cricket. During his tenure, India managed to win CWC-2011. He also led South African team to become no-1 test team in the world.
Now, RCB management will be looking to use his experience to win their first IPL trophy. In previous season, RCB’s performance was not good as they finished last earning only three-wins out of 14 league matches.
Kirsten has made his debut in Big-Bash as the head coach of Hobart Hurricanes. At RCB, he will be working with the head coach Denial Vettori, and also reunite with the Indian captain Virat Kohli, who made his international-debut under Kirsten’s watch.
