India hosted Sri Lanka in the second T20I of the series at Indore. The Indian batsmen got a rampaging start with Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul going bonkers over the Sri Lankan bowlers.
The stand-in Indian skipper went on to complete his century which turned out to be the fastest in the format. Rohit hit 10 gigantic sixes in the process.
But when the hitman was hitting sixes on the field, Harsha Bhogle was having a great time hitting sixes outside the field with his commentary. When Rohit was nearing his century and going full Terminator on the Lankan bowlers, this is what Harsha said:
When I was playing book cricket and knew where the 6 page was, I still couldn’t score at 285.
285 was the strike rate at which the Indian Skipper was scoring his runs.
Although Harsha Bhogle has had his moments commentating, this one was the most amusing comment he had ever made.
