El Clasico: Who Has The Better Goal Scoring Machine

The biggest fixture on the planet is here-El Clasico. Where FC Barcelona take on Real Madrid on Saturday Evening at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Whenever there is a comparison between two biggest club that is FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, we can’t wait to compare the main mans, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. With FC Barcelona on top of the Liga Santander with 11 points ahead of the arch-rivals Real Madrid who are in the fourth position with one game still in hand.

FC Barcelona:

Known as the best attacking team in Europe for the last couple of seasons. A sudden exit by Brazilian star Neymar Jr was not less than a shock for the fans, but the team has not lost its nerves and still are unbeaten in the league with 13 wins and 3 draws.

Lionel Messi(RW)


The best in the world Lionel Messi, he is the greatest footballer the world has ever witnessed, five times world player of the year is the highest goal-scorer of the year with  53 goals and 15 assists in the calendar year 2017. Destroying Real Madrid in last season’s El Clasico scoring 2 goals, winning the match 3-2.

The season started in an ugly manner for the Uruguayan striker. He was not up to the mark in the beginning of the season, but now scoring 2 goals in the last match against Deportivo, Luis Suarez has now scored 6 goals in last 5 La Liga games.

Paco Alcacer is enjoying his role at the club. He is been used as a rotating player this season. His performance is better than last season when he was bought from Valencia in the summers signing a five-year deal of 30m Euros.

Real Madrid:

Winning back to back silverware, becoming the firstever team to retain Uefa Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup and beating rivals Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup.

But Zidane men are now not in the position to lose as they are in the fourth position of La Liga with 11 pts behind first positioned FC Barcelona.

Cristiano Ronaldo(LW)



Recently winning his 5th Ballon d or, Cristiano Ronaldo is among the world best and most complete player in the history of Football. Scoring 10 goals in group stages of UCL and becoming the first ever player to score in each group stage match of UCL. But when talked about the domestic competitions the Portuguese is lacking performance.

Included in the squad of the El Clasico despite being doubtful due to injury. The French striker has lacked form this season, not performing up to the mark in domestic as well as European competitions.
